Afghanistan is ranked as the worst country for women worldwide. In addition to restrictions imposed by the Taliban on women’s education, right to work and freedom of movement, the country is hit hard by poverty and the effects of climate change. How do women live their lives beyond the media headlines?For this year’s International Women’s Day, Cajsa Wikström from the Solidarity Committee for Afghanistan will visit UF Malmö for a lecture based on her contacts with women in the country.
