Afghan Aid Plan Has ‘Staggering’ $3.14 Billion Gap: OCHA

Externa nyheter The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that the Humanitarian Response Plan has a gap of US$3.14 billion.
“Some $614 million is urgently required to support priority winter preparedness activities such as upgrades and repairs to shelter and the provision of warm clothes and blankets,” the report said. "In addition, $154 million is needed to pre-position supplies, including food and livelihoods assistance, before areas get cut off by the weather.”
According to OCHA, 79 percent of households live in shelters that need repair.
“79 percent do not have adequate access to heating, 56 percent do not have winter clothes for children,” OCHA said on Twitter.

Farah Province to Provide Free Transportation for Female Students – and open schools
