SAK får 50 miljoner extra för hälsa och utbildning för barn i Afghanistan

Svenska Afghanistankommittén får extra anslag från SIDA för att specifikt satsa på hälsa och utbildning för barn i Afghanistan. Inom ramen för detta anslag kommer bland annat 2 600 lärare att utbildas, 270 brunnar att borras och utbildningsmaterial att kunna köpas in till både skolor och lärare.

Oriflames grundare och Svenska Afghanistankommittén ger 1800 nomadbarn skolgång – i Afghanistan

Press Stichting af Jochnick Foundations, Oriflames huvudägare, ger 4,3 miljoner kronor till biståndsorganisationen Svenska Afghanistankommittén för att utbilda nomadbarn. Samarbetet sträcker sig under åren 2012-2015, och ger 1 800 elever tillgång till utbildning i årskurserna 1-6.
